Together with Damien, José and Jean-Luc, and accompanied by Sébastien, we are embarking on a rare polar adventure along the legendary Northwest Passage route – a 400-kilometre journey across the sea ice linking Cambridge Bay to Gjoa Haven in Canada’s Far North. This sea route, which links the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, takes us in the footsteps of the explorer Roald Amundsen, the first to open this route in 1906.

Claire and Christophe are setting off to climb Aconcagua, at an altitude of 6,962 meters, the highest peak in South America and part of the “7 Summits” challenge.

Nathalie, Pierre-Alain and Yves are heading to Rwenzori to climb Mount Stanley. Those who wish to do so will attempt to climb Margherita Peak (5,109 m), the third highest peak on the African continent. Rwenzori has been known since ancient times as the ‘Mountains of the Moon’. In Uganda, we set off to discover particularly well-preserved ecosystems and the famous Big Five (lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants and rhinos). We immerse ourselves in a chimpanzee habituation project and set off to meet the peaceful and impressive mountain gorilla on a particularly emotional day.

Sylvie sets off to climb Aconcagua via the route known as “the traverse,” ascending the east face to reach the north face, then descending via the normal route.

We accompany Corentin to the summit of Mount Vinson at 4,892 meters, the highest peak in Antarctica and one of the Seven Summits. Majestic snow-capped peaks protect vast glaciers, and in the distance, the snow meets the sky along a sharply curved horizon. Climbing Mount Vinson means challenging yourself on a mountain unlike any other, in one of the most remote regions on the planet.

Five of our mountaineering clients and Eric are attempting to climb one of the most beautiful peaks in the world, at almost 7,000 meters, which many mountaineers and trekkers have passed by during expeditions or treks in the Khumbu region: Ama Dablam.

Fabrice attempts to climb Himlung Himal, one of the least technical 7,000-meter peaks in Nepal, when weather conditions are favorable.

Dimitri and Sajjen are attempting to climb Manaslu, the eighth highest peak on the planet at 8,163 meters. Although not particularly technical, it remains a difficult summit due to its high altitude.

Fourteen participants, guided by French mountain guide Serge Bazin, will complete this beautiful expedition by following the normal route, which is physically demanding in the summit attempt. To be continued...
