Everest, the roof of the world, can be climbed by two faces, the Nepalese south and the Tibetan north. And many routes lead to the summit. During this web conference, Eric Bonnem, founder of Secret Planet, focuses on the normal routes of each face and goes over their characteristics, their dangerousness, their footfall and their difficulties, and concludes with the advantages and disadvantages of each of these two options. He then concludes by going over the comparative statistics of the two normal routes since 1922, the long-term trend, dwelling on the more recent period of the last 8 years: number of permits, success rate, supervision ratio, and so on.

During this web conference presented by Eric Bonnem, founder of Secret Planet, we look back at this legendary summit, to allow you to learn more about the normal routes of Everest and to begin to picture yourself on your next ascent. A rare conference in the world of high altitude, in which Expeditions Unlimited is the only French-speaking organisation present.
